Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Suzhou University of Science and Technology, ‘2017 Training Course on Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment Technology for Developing Countries’ is held from May 5th to June 3rd, 2017 in Suzhou, China. 43 officers and technicians from 16 countries took part in this training course. Professor Huang, deputy party secretary of SUST and the leaders of relative departments attended the opening and closing ceremonies and professor Huang presented the graduation certificates to the participants. This is the 38th China Aid program held by our university.
During the training course, School of Environmental Science and Engineering invited the leaders of Suzhou government and experts from both inside and outside of our university to give lectures on the subject of water supply and waste water treatment. The training course also included the introduction of Chinese language and Chinese economic development status-quo. Field trips were made to Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, etc..
This training course is organized with devotion and attentiveness. It wins the praise from both the Ministry of Commerce and the participants.
