一、放假时间 Holiday Schedule
2026年清明节放假时间为4月4日—4月6日，共3天。请合理安排学习、出行与休息，按时返校。
The Holiday for Qingming Festival in 2026 is from April 4 to April 6 (3 days). Please arrange your study, travel and rest properly and return to campus on time.
二、假期安全提示 Holiday Safety Reminders
1. 如果在假期期间离开苏州，请登录国际学生管理系统并提交出行目的地信息；
If you plan to leave Suzhou during the holiday, please log in to the International Student Management System and submit your travel destination information.
2. 有外出安排的同学，请注意人身及财产安全，避免前往人多拥挤的景区；
Students who have arrangements to travel should pay attention to personal and property safety and avoid going to crowded scenic spots;
3. 请注意公寓用水、用电安全，保证人走电断，谨防触电、火灾等事故发生；
Use all the appliances and kitchen wares in the right way, turn off the power after you leave. Avoid electric shock, fire or other incidents happening;
4. 遵守相关法律法规，不组织或参与违法犯罪活动; 严禁非法打工；
Abide by regulations and laws, do not organize or involve in illegal activities. Illegal employment is strictly prohibited;
5. 注意交通安全，遵守交通法规；不得无照驾驶；不得酒后驾驶。
Observe traffic safety and comply with traffic laws and regulations. Driving without a valid license is prohibited. Driving under the influence of alcohol is prohibited.
三、清明节介绍 Introduction to Qingming Festival
清明节是中国重要传统节日，兼具祭祖缅怀与踏青迎春双重意义。
Qingming Festival is an important traditional Chinese festival that combines ancestor worship with spring outings.
- 扫墓祭祖：清扫墓园、敬献鲜花，缅怀先人
- Tomb sweeping and ancestor worship: cleaning the cemetery, offering flowers, and remembering ancestors
- 踏青出游：赏花、放风筝，亲近自然
- Spring outings: enjoying flowers, flying kites, and getting close to nature
- 特色食俗：品尝青团（艾草糯米团子）
- Special food custom: tasting qingtuan (glutinous rice balls with wormwood)
文明祭扫，注意防火，遵守公共秩序。
Please conduct ancestor worship in a civilized manner, pay attention to fire safety, and abide by public order.
