On 10th April morning, the opening ceremony of ‘2017 Seminar on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Technology for Algeria’, sponsored by Ministry of Commerce, hosted by Suzhou University of Science and Technology, was held in A2 lecture hall of School of Environmental Science and Engineering. Nineteen officials and technicians from Algeria attended the opening ceremony.

Huangyong, Deputy Party Secretary of SUST; Zhang Zhanen, Head of School of Environment Science and Engineering; and the participant attended the opening ceremony. The Director of International Office, Mrs.Wu Huifang hosted the ceremony.

Deputy Party Secretary Huangyong made a speech on behalf of our university. Huang pointed that the SUST warmly welcomes the members of ‘2017 Seminar on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Technology for Algeria’. He introduced foreign aid programs and emphasized that the seminar will foster a positive effect in building a bridge of friendship between China and Algeria.

Zhang Zhanen, Head of School of Environment Science and Engineering, made a speech on behalf of teaching unit. He introduced the content of the course of this seminar and pointed that the seminar will be able to establish a platform where students can broaden their horizons, exchange their opinions and increase their knowledge. Also, the seminar will improve the cultural exchange and deepen friendship between China and Algeria.

The participant AZZOUNE LOUNES from Algeria delivered a speech on behalf of all the Algerian participants of this seminar. He said he will cherish this opportunity to learn some experience about energy-saving and emission-reduction. Besides, He wishes that the seminar will consolidate and strengthen the friendship between the two countries.

The seminar is scheduled to last for 21days from 8th April to 28th April. It is the 35th foreign aid program sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of P.R. China and organized by SUST.
