Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Suzhou University of Science and Technology, ‘2017 Training Course on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Technology for Developing Countries’ and ‘2017 Training Course on Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Technology for Developing Countries’ were held from June 5th to July 4th, 2017 in Suzhou, China. 51 officers and technicians from 16 countries took part in these two training courses. Ms. Wu Huifang, Director of International Office; Professor Zhang Zhanen, party secretary of School of Science and Engineering; Professor Li Yong, Dean of School of Science and Engineering and Professor Li Dapeng, Vice Dean of School of Science and Engineering attended the opening and closing ceremonies and presented the graduation certificates to the participants. These are the 39th and 40th China Aid programs held by our university.
During the training courses, School of Environmental Science and Engineering invited the leaders of Suzhou government and experts from both inside and outside of our university to give lectures on the subject of emission reduction technology and circular economy. The training courses also included the introduction of Chinese language and Chinese economic development status-quo. Field trips were made to Beijing, Shanghai, Anhui, etc..
These training courses are organized with devotion and attentiveness. They win the praise from both the Ministry of Commerce and the participants.
